General Information
The Primary School Mathematics Teaching Program was established in 2013 within the Nizip Faculty of Education. After its establishment, our program began providing education services with 40 students in the 2013-2014 academic year. Our program, which accepts students through exams conducted by ÖSYM every year, increased its student quota to 52 in the 2014-2015 academic year.
The aim of the Primary School Mathematics Teaching Program is to train mathematics teachers who will work at the secondary school level (5-8 grades). Our courses, prepared based on the latest developments in the field of mathematics education, aim to equip teacher candidates with mathematics knowledge that will lead them to success in their professions with courses in the fields of Mathematics and Science, with teaching knowledge with courses on teaching profession, and to support their intellectual development with general culture courses.
We are striving to achieve our goal of training teachers who can meet international qualifications with 3 Associate Professors, 1 Assistant Professor, 1 Lecturer Dr. and 1 Research Assistant Dr. who are actively teaching in our program and are experienced in research and teacher training.
