General Information
The Turkish Language Teaching Program was established in 2015 within the Nizip Faculty of Education. After its establishment, our program began providing education services with 40 students in the 2015-2016 academic year. Our program, which accepts students through exams conducted by ÖSYM every year, has increased its student quota to 52 in the 2016-2017 academic year.
The aim of the Turkish Language Teaching Program is to train teachers who will work at the secondary school level (5-8 grades), are equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to provide service in their field, have internalized ethical values, are aware of the realities of the world and have adopted the importance of lifelong learning, have the knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience to provide education, training and research in their field, can think critically, have high self-confidence and can follow innovations in their field. Our courses, which are prepared based on the latest developments in the field of Turkish education, aim to equip teacher candidates with the knowledge of teaching professional knowledge courses and teaching courses in the field of Turkish education that will lead them to success in their profession, as well as supporting their intellectual development with general culture courses.
We strive to achieve our goal of training teachers who can meet international qualifications with 1 Professor, 3 Associate Professors and 1 Research Assistant who are experienced in research and teacher training and actively teach in our program.
